Danilift's focus on green, climate-improving measures is rapidly increasing. As the world continues to call for more proactivity in relation to climate issues, we at Danilift also receive more and more customer requests for environmentally friendly solutions in an effort to help the world become greener - and of course we have those solutions for you.
We have developed our own battery-driven hybrid system, E-Drive, which can be installed in most of our access platform models. And our latest addition to the green line-up at Danilift is the Plug-In E-Drive System which doesn't run on batteries but an external 400VAC power supply.
We have been producing the battery solution for years now, but the interest has gone through the roof over the past few years, and we can see why.
Danilift's two E-Drive systems enable you to operate the platform solely on battery power or an external power supply rather than the PTO of the vehicle. This drastically reduces the CO2 emission during operation as the vehicle does not need to be idling while the platform is running. The noise pollution is also lowered significantly compared to regular PTO operation – electric operation is nearly soundless!

The van is a Maxus E-Deliver 9, and it has been equipped with a Danilift P145V Light. The platform has its own E-Drive battery system which is stored in a cabinet in the cargo space. With this unit, you get a platform that is constructed in the exact same way as all our other platforms. The only difference is that it runs solely on electric power. A powerful, robust machine that will lift you safely through your workday, without damaging the environment with tailpipe emissions.
The platform runs 40 cycles on a full charge, which equals to a whole workday's worth of platform operation. And compared to regular PTO operation, our electric platform is almost completely silent. This ensures a much more comfortable, noiseless work environment, which doesn't bother the platform operator or people passing by. Do you want to know more about this solution?
